ENCE, GORILLAZ set to clash for spot in Nordic Masters Fall

The two teams will take their first step toward qualifying for the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.
ENCE and GORILLAZ will face off in the Pelaajatcom Series Fall Showoff on August 22, the Finnish esports platform has announced. The match-up will mark the first time that Miikka "suNny" Kemppi and Jere "sergej" Salo will take on ENCE since departing the organisation at the end of 2020.
The winner of the best-of-three series will earn a spot in Nordic Masters Fall, where $25,000 and a spot in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown will be on the line.

GORILLAZ last recorded an official match in May, when they were eliminated in 12-14th in their Elisa Invitational Summer Regionals and Spring Sweet Spring 2 Regionals tournament bids.
The team has yet to finalize a fifth player after parting ways with Niels Christian "NaToSaphiX" Sillassen at the start of the tournament break, with time to find a replacement dwindling as the start of the season draws near.
ENCE, meanwhile, will take part in ESL Pro League Season 14 ahead of their clash against Robin "flusha" Rönnquist's troops, where they will hope to rebound after a dismal period of results, including a 9-12th exit from Pinnacle Cup II and a 5-8th finish in Elisa Invitational Summer.
The Pelaajatcom Series Fall Showoff will kick off on August 22 at 20:00 live on the Pelaajatcom Twitch channel, with the losing team getting another shot at qualification for the Nordic Masters via the Pelaajatcom Series Fall Finals.
